Pretty awesome news for some franchise fans. Hasbro has officially announced Transformers:Universe, coming in 2012. A brand new conflict MMO based on the Transformers franchise that picks up where War for Cybertron left off. You can head over to http://www.transformersuniverse.com to sign up for email announcements.
Each announcement is considered an application for beta at this time, so I am told so check it out!

You all remember that interesting sci-fi horror game a few years back called Hellgate: London? You also remember how it and the studio (Flagship) was abruptly shut down and all services stopped? I am sure there are a few of you out there that have search for emulators or found your dusty disks at the bottom of a stack somewhere and played the single player, right? Well it is back!
That's right ladies and gentlemen. Hellgate is back from T3 Entertainment and poised to be as highly addictive and fun as it was back when. RIFT: Planes of Telara Open Beta |

Open beta (Beta 7) for RIFT is now open for signups. This will be the final beta event before launch. Anyone can participate by creating a Trion account for this event.
All content from previous beta phases will be available along with two new zones, one new dungeon and an increased level cap of 42. The event will be open for six days, starting on 15 Feb at 10AM Pacific Standard Time and ending on 21 Feb at 10AM PST. Pre-patching for the event has already begun, so be sure to download early and avoid the opening day rush.

Closed Beta Event #6 started today (4 Feb) at 10AM PST and will run through Monday (7 Feb) at 10AM PST. During the event, players who seal any rift will receive planar loot and the chance to win an NVIDIA GeForce GTX460 video card. Another 10 players will be awarded in-game prize packs.
